Clark County MuseumThe Clark County Museum was founded in 1968. It occupies thirty acres at 1830 S. Boulder Highway in Henderson. Exhibits range from restored buildings to railroad rolling stock, with a timeline of local history and regular changing exhibits in the main museum building.
The museum presents life in southern Nevada from earliest men to today. From the 1931 Boulder City Union Pacific Depot to the 1966 Candlelight Wedding Chapel, the 1912 Beckley Home to an original Henderson Townsite house, visitors can view the past in its restored glory. We even have a ghost town, for those who want to see another link to the past. The museum grounds also have walking trails which provide a close up view of the natural history of Southern Nevada. Open seven days a week, the museum is the best place to learn the history of Clark County. Click here for a map of the property. Click here to learn more and view pictures or join us on Facebook |
